The Marion Adaline Belnap Kerr Collection contains many important documents on the lives of Utah Pioneers Gilbert Belnap, Adaline Knight, Henrietta McBride, their descendants, and their ancestors.
Most of the materials in this collection once belonged to Hyrum Belnap, who inherited them from his parents, Gilbert Belnap and Adaline Knight.  Hyrum's daughter, Marion Adaline Belnap Kerr, donated the materials to the archives of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints shortly before her death on 12 Apr 1972 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
The originals of several items found elsewhere on this web site are housed within this important collection.  Available here is the "Register of the Marion Adaline Belnap Kerr Collection," which was prepared by Max J. Evans of the LDS Church in January 1972.
